  • 12/30/09--19:30: Qi Gong Healing Prescriptions - Dec 31,2009 (chan 3105368)
  • A new book by Ra Un Nefer Amen. Unlike western exercise systems, Qi Gong exercises have been designed to assist in therapies for the healing of all diseases that can afflict man. Its successful use in the hospitals of China in the treatment of many serious illnesses including cancer is well documented. Even on its own, it has scored many remarkable cures. Qi Gong Healing Prescriptions gives easy to follow instructions on how to match specific health disorders to their appropriate qi gong exercise or healing sound. There are other Qi Gong systems like Five Animal Frolic, Eight Pieces of Brocade, etc. that are wonderful and effective, but suffer from three major drawbacks. They are presented in such a manner that the practitioner has to learn many complex sets of movements and they are not matched to illness patterns so that the practitioner is not able to focus on the exercise needed to address a particular health problem. Mr. Amen’s new book solves all of these problems. If you needed, for example, to improve your memory all that you would have to do is to turn to page 120 and follow the four simple movements that are shown and in less than three minutes you will be well on your way to supercharging your brain. The book includes a comprehensive list of Traditional Chinese Herbal formulas that are matched to the qi gong exercises to increase the effectiveness of the system even though the exercises have proven to be extremely effective on their own.

  • 06/10/10--18:00: INTERVIEW WITH ERLE MONTAIGUE - Jun 11,2010 (chan 3105368)
  • I am excited to introduce to you a rare master from Down Under - Australian Erle Montaigue, who began his "internal" journey back in 1967 when he met and trained with a Chinese teacher at an electronics school that Erle was attending. The Chinese teacher would teach a strange slow moving art that was virtually unheard of in Australia back then. The teacher told Erle that he would become "superman". Which of course turned out to be not so true but at least it kept him learning. The system turned out to be Taijiquan which Erle believes is the quintessential Qigong method of movement and breath. Erle's search from those early days took him all over the world in search of teachers of this illusive "superman" art. Strangely, it was back in Australia where, Erle met his main teacher Chang Yiu-chun who turned out to be one of only 3 special students of one of Yang Shou-hou. Chang taught Erle, after much badgering, what is now known as The Old Yang Style of Yang Lu-ch'an. Erle Montaigue prefers not to be called lofty names such as Sifu or Master as he believes that we are all equal and one's "students" must also be one's friends. With around 381 DVD titles covering every possible aspect of the Internal Arts of Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Qigong, Dim-Mak and Wudang Arts, Erle at 61 still travels the world teaching what he knows because it is his life.
